If you’re someone who frequently sends emails from your iPhone, you know that manually erasing the “Sent from my iPhone” signature repeatedly is pretty tiresome. Luckily, your iPhone allows you to completely remove this signature, or change it to something else instead to save you the hassle.
Let’s take a look at how to do this on your iPhone.
How to Remove “Sent From My iPhone” in the Mail App
You can change your email signature to any statement you would like, or just remove it altogether. Here’s how to do so on your iPhone:
- Open Settings and go to the Mail app.
- Scroll down and select Signature.
- If you have multiple accounts logged in, you will see two options: All Accounts and Per Account. The former will change or remove your signature for the email accounts you are logged into; the latter will only do it for the account you select. You won’t see these options if you have only one account logged in.
- In the text box, hit backspace to remove Sent from my iPhone and replace it with whatever text you would like. To remove the signature entirely, just leave the text box empty.
- Click on Mail in the top left corner to save your changes.

Removing iPhone Signatures From Social Media Apps
Twitter is the only social media platform that gives any indication of the device that is being used. All tweets you send out from an iPhone have Twitter for iPhone written underneath them in the details.
Unfortunately, removing or changing this tag is not as easy as doing it for your emails. You will have to create a Twitter developer account, wait for it to get approved by Twitter, and then access the rights to change the source of your tweet.

You Can Now Remove the iPhone Signature
Your settings allow you to remove or edit the signature text in an email that is sent from the Mail app. You can completely remove the signature or create a new one to be used in every email you send.
Different signatures can be set for different email accounts logged in, and you can choose which account has what sort of signature with the Per Account option in the Mail Settings.
