This article explains how to use the Samsung My Files app on your Samsung Galaxy device to find and organize your downloads. If you have at least a Samsung Galaxy 3, the app should be on your device. You can also download it from the Google Play Store if you have a compatible device.
How Do I Find the My Files App?
Unless you created a shortcut, the My Files app might be buried. Here's how to find it.

Open the App Drawer. You can do this through a variety of methods, depending on the device. You can tap Apps, tap and hold an empty portion of the home screen, or swipe up or down from the home screen.

If you don't see My Files, swipe left or right to go through your apps. It may also be in a folder, so look in Samsung or Tools if you don't see it in the App Drawer.

Once you find it, tap My Files to open the app. From here, you can use it for a variety of functions.
Use My Files to Find Your Download Folder and More
The Samsung My Files app groups all the files on your device in a variety of categories, making it easy to sort through and find what you're looking for.
You can tap different sections, like Images or Documents, to easily find the things you're looking for. If you just downloaded something new, tap Downloads to enter your Downloads folder and access or delete files.
When you tap a file, it opens with the corresponding app. If you tap and hold, you can select multiple files at once. Context-sensitive icons appear when you select files, making them easy to share or delete if needed.
