How to Jailbreak your iDevice Running iOS 9.3.3 with Pangu and Cydia Impactor (Windows)

This guide will show you how to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch on iOS 9.2 – 9.3.3 using Pangu and Cydia Impactor for Windows.

Note: Before performing the jailbreak procedure, it is always a good practice to make a full backup of your device. Apple provides various ways for backup on iCloud or iTunes. And now, you can do it even without your computer.

The Jailbreaking Process

Without further redo, lets’ start with the first step.

  1. Download the latest Pangu jailbreak IPA from the following link. Also, download the Cydia Impactor from here. Save both files to a folder on your computer.

  2. Right-click the Impactor zip file and extract it.

  3. Now, launch Impactor.exe from the extracted folder. Make sure you DO NOT run it as Administrator.
  4. If a Security Warning window appears, click on Run.

  5. Connect your iDevice to your computer via lightning cable and select Trust this computer when your iDevice will ask you.

  6. Select the NvwaStone IPA file downloaded earlier. Drag and drop it into Cydia Impactor.

  7. The app will ask you to enter your Apple ID and password. Type them to sign the IPA. That will allow your device to run it.

  8. The Cydia Impactor app will now display a warning to developers:

“This action will revoke and replace any existing Apple Developer certificate associated with your account, which may (or may not: I honestly don’t know much about official Apple development work) have some complicated effect on your workflow if you are an Apple Developer.”

  1. Now, Cydia Impactor will sign the IPA and download the Pangu Jailbreak on your iDevice.
  2. Once the app is downloaded to your iOS device, you have to trust the developer profile created under your email address.
    1. Go to Settings, tap on General, and open Device Management.
      Tap on your email from the Device Management menu.
    2. Now, tap on Trust.
    3. Confirm your action, by tapping the Trust button again, from the pop-up window.

  3. Go back to your Home screen and launch the Pangu app.
  4. When the app asks your permission to send push notifications, click OK.

  5. Press the Start button and make sure the box Use embedded certificate effective until April 2017 is checked. If you are not a developer and don’t check the box, the signed IPA is valid for only 7 days. If you are a developer, and you sign the IPA with your own developer certification, you can use it for one year.

  6. Now, press the lock/wake button to lock your device. After around 5 seconds you will receive a notification that your device has been successfully jailbroken.

  7. Unlock your iDevice, reentering the Pangu app. Now it prepares the jailbreak environment and installs Cydia.

  8. Once it finishes, your iDevice will respring with the Cydia icon on the Springboard.

Note: This jailbreak method requires re-executing the jailbreak after each restart. So, make sure you DO NOT delete the Pangu app from your device. Cause you will need to open it and tap the circle after every reboot.
