Solution 4. Reset Windows Store Cache.

The next method to resolve the problem 0x80190005, with Cortana App (or any other Store App) in Windows 10, is to reset the Windows Store Cache. To do that:

2. In command prompt, give the following command to create a new account (e.g. with the username "User1" *)

  • net user User1 /add

* Note: If you want change the username "User1" with your own choice.

3. Next add the new account to administrators group, with this command:

4. Sign Out from the current user account and sign in to the new account.
5. Now open Cortana (or the Windows Store) and Sign-in with your MS Account. If the logn problem "Something went wrong, 0x80190005" has resolved, then proceed to transfer your settings and files from the old (local) account to the new account and then remove the old account from your PC (through "Control Panel" –> "User Accounts" –> "Manage Another Account").
