Version 21.50.02.01 of the AMD Radeon video card drivers suite was released on March 17, 2022. These drivers are also referred to as the Adrenalin Edition AMD Drivers.
The version 21.50.02.01 AMD Radeon Drivers for Windows 11 and Windows 10 are included in the Radeon Software Adrenalin 22.3.1 installation package.
What Are the Adrenalin Edition AMD Video Card Drivers?
The latest AMD drivers are compatible with most AMD-based video cards for
Windows. This is the final WHQL version of these drivers and replaces all previously available drivers. You should install v21.50.02.01 if you have a supported AMD GPU with any previous driver release, including beta versions.
You can find the driver version number for your AMD Radeon drivers in the Windows Device Manager.
Changes in AMD Radeon v21.50.02.01
Here's a list of the fixes, improvements, and other changes in version 21.50.02.01:
- Support: Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) Technology, AMD Link, faster downloads, and improved toast notification.
- Fixed: Some users on Windows 10 operating system may observe the absence of the windows transparency aero effect.
- Fixed: On some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon RX 6800 XT Graphics, the Tuning page within AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition may display incorrect preset selections after installing the latest AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition driver.
- Fixed: While playing Forza Horizon 5 on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon RX 6800 Graphics, longer than expected load times may be experienced when Ray Tracing is enabled and set at either Medium or High Ray Tracing Quality setting.
- Fixed: Visual artifacts may be observed while playing It Takes Two on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon RX 6900 XT Graphics.
- Fixed: Enabling Radeon Chill for SteamVR may lead to inconsistent performances being experienced.
- Fixed: After disabling the Hotkeys feature in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, some hotkeys still function for some users when they restart their system.

AMD Radeon v21.50.02.01 Known Issues
There are still a few known issues with the latest drivers:
- Using Radeon Super Resolution on 2560x1600 resolution displays may produce a system hang. A temporary workaround is to set the display Scaling Mode to Full Panel.
- While playing Cyberpunk 2077 on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon RX 570 Graphics, some users may observe an issue where indoor areas appear darker than expected.
- Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.
- Radeon performance metrics and logging features may intermittently report extremely high and incorrect memory clock values.

Windows 11 and Windows 10 are the only supported operating systems for the v21.50.02.01 drivers. Supported mobile AMD GPUs for v21.50.02.01 include Mobility Radeon HD (8500M and 7700M) and AMD Radeon R9/R7/R5, RX 5500M, and M200/M300 series GPUs.
Supported desktop and all-in-one AMD GPUs for v21.50.02.01 include RX Vega series, RX 6900 series, RX 6800/M series, RX 6700/M series, RX 6600M/XT series, RX 5700 series, RX 5600 XT, RX 5500 series, RX 500 series, RX 400 series, Radeon Pro Duo, Radeon R9 (Fury, Nano, 200, 300), R7 (300, 200), R5 (300, 200) and Radeon HD 7700 and 8500 series GPUs. A-Series AMD Radeon R7, R6, R5, R4, R3, and R2 APUs are also supported.
Some laptops and tablets with integrated AMD graphics (especially those manufactured by Toshiba, Sony, and Panasonic) may not be supported by any driver from AMD, even if there's an AMD logo on the device. If you have trouble installing these drivers from AMD, use the video drivers provided by your computer manufacturer instead.
