A fellow worker came to me very desperate because his Motherboard (MB) BIOSTAR H61MGV Ver: 7.0 was out of order. He told me this MB was just new, he had bought it only some months ago, and it had no video-out, and a tech had checked it and the final conclusion of this tech was: you have to buy a new Motherboard.
In my country this technology is very expensive, therefore I told him let’s have a look. 
First thing done was to check on all the output voltages of the Switch Mode Power Supply and they were ok, at simple sight you could see there were no bulged e-caps in the Mobo. Suddenly an idea came into my mind: to extract the PCI Express Graphic Card and connect the Monitor into the VGA connector built-in the MB. 
This time there was video-out in the Display connected to this port (sorry, I forgot to take a picture). My fellow-worker saw what I did and was very happy that there was display. This confirmed the motherboard was working and now I had to service the Graphic Card (GIGABYTE GV-N210D3-1GI Rev: 3.0) and after that, thermal compound was used. The golden contacts were cleaned with a pencil eraser and a brush.
When the card was inserted into the PCI Express slot and the PC was switched on, it worked perfectly fine. 
Conclusion: this was a simple repair in my humble opinion, but the main keys are the patient and dedication that the repair person has in the wish to solve a situation. If this duty would not be dedicated to this Mobo, it would be now in the dump and the owner would have to spend a lot of money buying another one.
