How to Rename Folders on an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

This very brief tutorial will show you how to rename any of the “App folders” on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch Home screens.

1. Locate the folder you want to rename and open it up by tapping it once.



2. Tap somewhere in the background of the folder (anywhere but on an App icon) and hold your finger down.



3. The icons inside of the folder will start to ‘wiggle’ and the folder name will become editable – just tap somewhere on the name itself.



4. Now give it a new name.



5. That’s it! Repeat as needed to keep your folders organized and well-named :)
