How to Reorder the Icons on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch Home Screen

This very brief guide will show you how to re-order or re-arrange the icons/Apps on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch “Home” screens.

1. To change the order of the icons on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch Home screen – tap one of the icons (doesn’t matter which one) and hold your finger down.



2. After holding down the icon for a couple of seconds, a small menu will appear. Select Edit Home Screen from that menu.



3. All of the icons on your Home screen will now start to ‘wiggle’, and most will have a small dash ( – ) in the upper-left corner. While the icons are wiggling, tap one, hold your finger down and “drag” that icon to where you want it to appear on your Home Screen.



4. Repeat the above step until you’re happy with your Home screen layout. When you’re done, click the Home button on your device.
