I am a long time user of Momentum, which I think was the first popular Chrome extension to amp the look of a new tab. Then came FlashTabs, which helps me use flash cards to stave off forgetfulness. These are just some of the productive new tab extensions available for Chrome. But with their numbers (and popularity) comes an everyday problem: you can use them only one at a time.
