How to Get RSS Feed Updates Straight to Your Email Inbox

RSS feeds are awesome -- especially if you're using an RSS client actually worth using -- but sometimes they aren't the best solution. It can be annoying to have yet another thing to check every morning, right?

Maybe it'd be better to receive those RSS updates as emails.

Fortunately, this is possible! You'll need to know how to use IFTTT, which is a lovely web service that can perform all kinds of actions based on certain triggers. In our case, whenever our RSS feed updates, we want IFTTT to send it to us as email. (Learn more about IFTTT here.)

First, sign up for IFTTT. It's free.
