A font scheme is a defined set of fonts associated with a publication. In each font scheme, both primary and secondary fonts are specified. A primary font is used for titles and headings, and a secondary font is used for body text.

1] How to apply a built-in scheme font in Publisher
Launch Publisher.
Type a text into the publication and increase the text size.
Click the Page Design tab.
Click the Font button in the Scheme group and select a scheme font from its drop-down menu.
The font in the publication will change.
2] How to create a new scheme font in Publisher
You can also create a new font scheme by clicking the Font button again and selecting a Create a new font scheme option from the drop-down menu.
A Create new font scheme dialog box will appear.
in the dialog box, you can choose a font style for the Heading and the Body Font, then give the font a name
Click Save.
The font will change in the publication to the custom scheme font you have designed.
If you click the Font button, you will see the custom font in the drop-down menu.
3] How to duplicate custom scheme font
In Microsoft Publisher, you can duplicate your font schemes, built-in or custom.
Click the Font button in the Scheme group, right-click the custom scheme font, then select Duplicate Scheme.
A Duplicate Font Scheme dialog box will open.
Name the duplicate font scheme
Click Ok.
Check the scheme font drop-down menu to see the duplicate scheme.
4] How to rename custom scheme font
Publisher allows users to rename the custom scheme if they decide that they want to change its name, but users cannot change the name for built-in scheme fonts.
Click the Font button in the Scheme group, right-click the custom scheme font, and select Rename Scheme.
A Rename Font Scheme dialog box will appear.
In the section New name for font scheme, give the custom font scheme a new name.
Then click OK.
5] How to delete a scheme
Click the Font button in the Scheme group and right-click a scheme font, then select Delete Scheme.
A Message box will open; click Yes.
The scheme font is deleted.
6] How to open the scheme font settings
Click the Font button in the Scheme group and select Font Schemes Options.
A Font Schemes Options dialog box will open.
Within the dialog box, you have options to Update custom text styles, override applied text formatting and Adjust font sizes.
You can select or deselect the checkboxes of these options according to what you want, then click OK.
7] How to add scheme font to Quick access toolbar
You can add scheme fonts on your quick access toolbar, where you can easily access the scheme fonts.
Right-click the Font button in the Scheme group and select Add to Quick Access Toolbar.
