Step 1 : Unlink Onedrive Account

The first thing we are going to do to fix this error is unlink your onedrive account.  This will reset your login details.  To do this follow these steps

1. Open Microsoft Onedrive
2. Click on … More at the bottom of the application
3. Click on settings in the popup menu
   
4. Click on the Account Tab at the top
5. Click on unlink this PC
   
6. On the Unlink account on this PC window click on Unlink account
   
7. Onedrive will now automatically close
8. Open up microsoft onedrive again and sign in
9. If you still get the error code 0x8004de34 continue to the next step

Step 2 : Reinstall Onedrive Application

If the previous step did not resolve the error we will now try to uninstall and reinstall the onedrive application.  To do this follow these steps

1. Click on start > Settings (Cog looking Icon)
   
2. Click on the apps icon
3. Scroll down until you see the Microsoft OneDrive application

3. Scroll down until you see the Microsoft OneDrive application
4. Left click on Microsoft OneDrive and click on uninstall, then uninstall a second time
   
5. If you get prompted by a UAC prompt click on YES

7. Now click on the start menu and type in %appdata% then left click on the folder that appears
   
8. If there are any folders named OneDrive or Microsoft OneDrive delete them
   
9. Next go in to the Microsoft folder
10. If there are any folders named OneDrive or Microsoft OneDrive delete them
11. Now click on the start menu and type in %localappdata% then left click on the folder that appears
12. If there are any folders named OneDrive or Microsoft OneDrive delete them
13. Next go in to the Microsoft folder
14. If there are any folders named OneDrive or Microsoft OneDrive delete them
15. Download the latest version of microsoft one drive from here
16. Install the application
17. Open Microsoft OneDrive and sign in.
