Deep scratches in your computer screen can be distracting and irritating, but rather than buy a new monitor, you can try repairing the current one. Lighter scratches may be removed using a pencil eraser or rubbing alcohol, but deeper scratches require a substance that can sink all the way into the surface.

- Using the microfiber cloth, gently wipe the computer screen until it is clean.
- Remove some petroleum jelly from the container using a cotton swab.
- Rub the petroleum jelly directly on the scratch until the scratch is completely filled.
- Wipe the excess petroleum jelly off the screen.
