An update rolled out earlier today for the mega-popular Elden Ring video game on Microsoft’s Xbox One and Xbox Series X console families, Windows PC, and Sony’s PlayStation consoles.
This new Elden Ring update adds background music for some open field areas at night, added some summonable NPCs to several situations, added a new NPC called Jar-Bairn, and introduced a function to record an icon and the name of an NPC on the map when that NPC is encountered.
A number of bug fixes and balancing changes were also made.

Elden Ring launched in late-February and has been a massive success, having already sold over 12 million copies.
