If you see this message on your Windows 10/8/7 computer, you need to do the following:

  1. Open Services Manager and ensure that the Volume Shadow Copy Service is Enabled and Started
  2. Run System File Checker
  3. Try to perform the Backup operation in Clean Boot State.
