Microsoft has just released the Windows 11 preview build 22468 for Insiders in the Dev channel, which brings various improvements and fixes for VPN Settings, the Taskbar, Windows Search, File Explorer, and more. The Windows Insider team previously said that it could be some time before new Windows 11 features show up in this active development branch, and that means that Android apps and other OS improvements will only be released to Dev Channel Insiders when they’re ready.
It’s important to note that some fixes mentioned in the release notes for today’s build 22468 will also be included in patches for the first version of Windows 11 that will be released on October 5. That being said, here’s the full list of changes, bug fixes, and known issues included in the Windows 11 build 22468:
If you haven't installed a new Windows 11 preview build for quite some time, the Windows Insider team mentioned today that all previous Dev Channel builds from the RS_PRERELEASE branch released before today's build 22468 will expire on October 31, 2021. To avoid ending in a state where your PC is running a Windows 11 build that has reached its expiration date, the team recommends installing today's build 22468 as soon as possible on your PC.
