The folks at Stardock just keep on working to improve Start11 by giving you more ways to tweak Windows 11 to your own liking. Just announced on October 14 is the Release Candidate 2 update, delivering tons of new customization options for the software.
At the top of the list of changes is the ability to change individual tile colors for the Windows 10 menu style in Start11. You also can now hide the recently installed applications list for both Windows 10 and 11 menu styles. In addition, new is the optional full-screen menu for Windows 10 and 11 styles, and the ability to hide the “recent document list” in the Windows 11 menu style. Some other changes and critical fixes can be seen below.
Just last week, Stardock released Release Candidate 1 update for Start 11, bringing back the ability to move the Taskbar to the top of the screen. Keep in mind, though, that this is still a release candidate, and you might end up experiencing some bugs.
