It's Friday, but Microsoft just released Windows 11 Preview build 22000.168 for Windows Insiders in both the Dev and Beta channel. Like last week's release, this is another small update and it just brings a new Microsoft 365 widget and some improvements to the Microsoft Store. Here's a look at what you need to know.
We start first with the new features. Microsoft says it has added multiple launches to the Chat app in windows 11. Albanian, Arabic, Azerbaijani, Basque, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional) are a few. Also new in the build is the new Microsoft 365 Widget.
This widget brings relevant documents, news, and meeting recordings to enterprise users. This widget will only be available if you are signed in with your AAD account on your PC running Windows 11. It's not a consumer-first feature at the moment.

Also, new in this build are some big changes to the Microsoft Store. This is hitting the Dev Channel first, with app store version 22108.1401.9.0, Microsoft is giving the Library UI a complete visual overhaul with simpler navigation and better performance to boot. Also updated is the Spotlight design, as you can now hover over an app to sneak peek at what's inside.

Fixes and known issues in this build can be seen below. We've included the full changelog, sparing you the trouble.
This is the 8th major Windows 11 build, but it still doesn't bring the much-anticipated Android apps integration. We hope that this feature comes soon, as for now, these builds just appear to be bringing smaller quality-of-life changes. Happy downloading, Windows Insiders, and remember to keep the feedback coming to Microsoft via the Feedback hub!
