Windows 11 Insider build 22489 is out with new Microsoft account setting page

Microsoft has released today the Windows 11 preview build 22489 for Insiders in the Dev channel. Starting with this build, Microsoft is gradually rolling out a new Microsoft account setting page that will let Insiders see their current subscriptions, order history, Microsoft Rewards points, and more.

This new MSA Settings page will be available under Settings > Account, though the Windows Insider team said that it will only be available for a very small set of Insiders for now. "Over time, we plan to improve the Your Microsoft account settings page based on your feedback from Feedback Hub via Online Service Experience Packs, the team said today.

In addition to this new MSA Settings page, todays build 22489 also splits up the Apps & Features section in the Settings app into two new pages, "Installed Apps, and Advanced app settings." Thats it for the most visible changes in this build, but theres also long list of fixes for the Taskbar, File Explorer, Task View, and more. You can find more details about whats changed and known issues below:

Unfortunately, there's still no Android apps and Windows Subsystem for Android news for Windows Insiders in the Dev channel, and we hope this will change soon. If you're still running previous Windows 11 Dev Channel builds on your PC, though, you should be aware that these builds will expire on 10/31/2021. The Windows Insider team recommends updating to the latest build asap to avoid running expired builds when November arrives in just a few days.
