Today Microsoft released a trio of new builds in two Windows 11 Insider Channels, build 25193 for the Dev Channel, and 22621.590 / 22622.590 for the Beta Channel. Let's take a look at what's new while you get to downloading:
Beta Channel 22621.590
This build, for the Beta Channel coming with new features turned off by default, comes with just two fixes, and those come for both Beta Channel varieties:
Beta Channel 22622.590
For the build with new features enabled (if they've rolled out to you), there's a number of fixes. The issue causing Control Panel not to start from the Start Menu has been fixed, and the ability to "share a local file directly to OneDrive using the built-in Windows share window" has been disabled, due to feedback from Insiders. "We hope to bring this feature back in the future after further refinement of the experience," says Microsoft.
In addition, there are a number of fixes for File Explorer, and for the Taskbar, check them out in the blog post.
Dev Channel 25193
The big deal about 25193 is that it introduces Xbox subscription management within the Windows 11 Settings app:
Along with that, the ability to share local files to OneDrive using the Windows share window is also gone from this Dev Channel build (see above), and support for new Braille displays in Narrator. There are the usual list of fixes and known issues, read up about all of them on the blog post.
