Microsoft has just released the Windows 11 Insider build 22458 for Dev Channel testers, which is another minor release coming from the companys new development branch. Microsoft highlighted the addition of a link to sign-in options to the power menu on Start, but some of our readers have since pointed out that this feature has actually been there since the release of build 22449.
Anyway, this new build also fixes some bugs affecting the Start Menu, Search, and the Settings app, but theres still a long list of known issues as well, and the bug causing Taskbar icons to appear misaligned is also still there. Anyway, you can find the full list of changes, bug fixes, and known issues in the build 22458 below
Microsoft is also inviting Dev Channel Insiders to check out the redesigned Tips app, which will start rolling out soon to Beta and Release Preview Insiders. "Weve updated the Tips app with 100+ new tips to help you get started on Windows 11 and learn new things-discover keyboard shortcuts, find ways to optimize your PC, dive into productivity tips for Office, power up your gaming on Windows, and much more," the Windows Insider team explained.

"As mentioned previously, it will be a little while before major new features show up. However, this build includes a good set of improvements and bug fixes," the Windows Insider team emphasized today. It's still not clear when Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel will be able to test Android apps on Windows 11, but the team made it pretty clear today that we're not done seeing minor updates coming from the Dev Channel for the time being.
Update 10:35AM PT: We've updated the post to mention that the link to sign-in options on the power menu on Start that Microsoft highlighted today has actually been there since the release of the build 22449.
